All organizations are busy. Many workshops are academic rather than practical in nature. CSD workshops are designed to provide organizational tools that yield rapid results, are easy to understand and utilize, and quick to implement.

The workshop output will be a Strategic Action Plan that will paint a good picture of where you are now, where you want to go and what practical actions you can take today for getting there.

From Local Actor to International Professional
Aligning your organization to the world of impact: 3 Days
We will define impact, learn why it is important, and investigate what is working in development and under what circumstances. Discover the value of using global resources for impact-oriented programming models and evidence-based field interventions.

From the Ground Up: Designing Community-Centered Projects with Sustainable Solutions: 3 Days. Design an outcome-driven project from the ground up. Develop a range of skills, including how to facilitate participatory needs assessments, how to develop the project concept, and how to incorporate community-oriented workshops and evidence-based interventions.

Project Architecture: Managing for Impact
Imbed impact into your project design with a powerful set of management tools: 3 Days.
LogFrames, detailed budgets, timelines, compelling fact sheets, M&E plans, outcomes and impact. These tools will communicate to donors and stakeholders exactly what you are trying to accomplish.

Positive Outcomes. Donor and NGO staff training in Guatemala on how to design and conduct impact assessments. Facilitate a participatory needs assessment, design and implement an outcome-driven project, and plan an impact assessment.

Bridging the Gap. Design and Implement Outcome-Driven Development Projects. Work side-by-side with villagers in the true context of a rural development project: a remote mountain village. Facilitate participatory needs assessments and discover the real-life needs of community members.

Strategic Action Planning Retreat. In this retreat we work with NGO staff to establish an organizational vision, explore what is having impact in their programming, and assemble a step-by-step strategic action plans for improving activities that need fine tuning.
