HOW TO ENROLL IN OUR TRAINING PROGRAMS

Two simple steps and you're in!
It's easy to enroll in our training programs. There are only two things to do: fill out the application form and pay the course fee. The links are just below.

Step One
Fill out the Application Form.

Step Two
Arrange Payment. Unfortunately, scholarships are not available.

Pay for the 8 week Training Program that includes the 6-day Workshop
This 8 week international training program—attended by international colleagues—will provide a system of building block activities for participants to use on the ground in developing and implementing successful  projects that can be co-managed and sustained by communities.

The training cost is US $1,250 per participant. This covers the 8 week training fee (including the 5-day Workshop), resource materials, guidance during the pre- and post-workshop field components, a welcome dinner, refreshments and lunches during the workshop. Participants will be responsible for their own travel expenses and arrangements such as airport transfers, visa application fees where necessary, food and accommodation, health/accident insurance, and other personal expenses.

$1,250.00 Payment
To pay by debit or credit card simply select the 6 week Training from the drop-down menu below, fill in your nationality and click "add to cart". You can also add the Two-day Field Assessment Course to your cart.

When you are ready to pay, click ‘Proceed to Checkout.’ PayPal membership is not required; in the lower left you will see 'Don't have a PayPal account?' Click 'continue' and you will be linked to the credit card form for non-PayPal members.

Pay for the Two-Day Optional Field Course
Attend the Two-Day Guatemala Field Course and conduct a needs assessment with villagers in Guatemala immediately prior to the five-day workshop. The assessments themselves will be conducted in a Guatemalan village setting for an actual project that will be developed by a Guatemalan NGO. Download the detailed workshop syllabus to see how this works.

The optional 2-day field assessment course is $500 which covers the training fee, resource materials, local transportation and lunches. Participants will be responsible for their own travel expenses and arrangements such as airport transfers, visa application fees where necessary, food and accommodation, health/accident insurance, and other personal expenses.

Students from over 500 organizations in 147 countries have used CSDi courses to develop projects impacting over 350,000 people.

Confirmation
Upon receipt of your application form and training fees we will make recommendations for hotels that you can book. Please wait to book an airline flight until after you've received this confirmation.

At this point you will also be given instructions and resources for conducting the participatory needs assessments if you plan on doing it in your country in preparation for the live workshop in Guatemala.

Download and read our Workshop Terms and Conditions.

Visas
Depending on the country that you're from you may or may not need a tourist visa for Guatemala. There is a list published by the Guatemalan Government of those nationalities that do need a visa.

We recommend that you initiate the visa process eight weeks in advance of the workshop.
